Here are the most frequently asked questions about my pet sitting and dog walking services

What areas do you cover? 

Generally, the Market Harborough area and its surrounding area, such as the villages.  I can also travel to Uppingham sometimes other parts of Rutland. 
I have also visited other areas to care for pets, such as Kettering and also villages surrounding Oakham, Rutland. Please get in touch if you are in one of these areas.

How long does an overnight stay last?

An overnight stay lasts from midday onwards until midday the following day.  I can leave earlier though if you arrive home before then. 

How long does a dog walk last?

An hour, but it may be longer if this is usual for your dog.  Please contact me to discuss, if your dog usually requires longer walks, as I may be able to assist.  I am happy to walk your dog at their usual walk time if I can.  Also, I do solo walks – I do not walk in packs, so your dog will be enjoying its walk like its usual dog walk, as it would with you.   If you have more than one dog I may walk them together or apart depending on their temperaments.

What details will I need from you?

If you have multiple pets then please, contact me for a price.

Otherwise,
An overnight stay in your home is £35 per night.
A day sit in your home is £30 per day. These are up to a maximum of 8 hours. Please, contact me if you require longer.
A dog walk depends on the duration see the dog walking services page. 

It is £4 per extra dog.
Pet visits are £12 for one visit 
                          and £20 for two visits per day. 

For Other Services; plant watering, house sitting, parcel collecting, etc.
 – please, contact me. 

I will need the details of your vet along with your pet insurance if you have any.  I also will require an emergency contact. Ideally, they hold a spare key and can be available to assist in an emergency should this arise while you are away. 

Does my pet need to be fully vaccinated?

Yes, please! Please provide further information if they are not. 
Pets must have been treated for ticks and fleas.

Does my dog need to wear a collar?

I require for all dogs to wear a collar with an ID tag attached during all aspects of my pet care services.

What if I have lots of different pets with lots of needs?
